Rules:

1. No flooding. Saying different messages really quickly will cause you to be kicked
2. Don’t repeat yourself. Saying the same message over and over and over will get you kicked
3. No excessive swearing. Swearing is fine, but once it starts to get annoying you will be kicked
4. No flaming. Discussion and taking sides on an issue is fine, but once it degrades to an all out flame war we will stop it using any force needed
5. No clones. You only need to have one user, having two makes it too complicated
6. English only. Simple as that, we’ll kick you otherwise
7. Use derogatory terms. Again, simple as that
8. Argue with the staff. They’re decisions are final. If you want to complain about a staff member then feel free to PM an Admin on the forums
9. No advertising other channels
10. Overuse of scripts. The ops will decide when a script is overused, they’re decision is final
11. Nick spamming. Stick with one nick, just to keep confusion to a minimum. However changing you nick from say “Gamesouler” to “Gamesouler[busy]” is fine. Just keep it to a minimum
12. Do not share your personal information on IRC. We don’t need to risk Gamesoul getting in trouble because you gave out your social security number and credit card numbers over our IRC. Use your common sense here

All op and admin decisions are final.
Bans will be made when the staff members feel that you are becoming a regular rule breaker or need a little time out.

Staff members symbols:
A ~ is an owner (has kick,ban and channel control powers)
A @ is an op (has kick, ban and limited channel control powers)
A % is a halfop(has kick and ban powers)
A + a voice (has no powers, except the ability to speak when the channel is silenced)

Owners, ops and halfops are your staff members.

A voice is simply a respected member. (S)He has no powers over any other users except for being able to speak is the channel is put on moderated mode. At that point only voice’s and staff can speak.
